Може ли някой тук да ми помогне, или да ме информират къде могат да получат информация за това какво влаковете все още са теглени се дизелови локомотиви?
Много Благодаря предварително ...

Dear Dan,
Google translator is idiot, you can't imagine what a rubbish it generates.
Please write in English.
As far as I understood you are coming down with PTG to enjoy the class 87. But what you are asking about diesels? We could explain you everything connected with railways, just ask. And don't hesitate to write in English!
Best regards
Emil

Welcome to the forum! I suggest it would be best to write in English since Google Translator isn't any good.
As far as I understand from the translated post you need information for diesel-hauled trains. There are quite a few lines that aren't electrified so there's still enough use of diesel traction.

Ah ok, English it is!
the tour is for 3 days but we are over for 8 days and would like to travel on as many diesel hauled services as we can.
We are going to spend a day on the Class 75 /77 on the Dobrinishte line.
I have been told of a few diesel hauled service with 07s working from Plovdiv to Svilengrad and Dimitrovgrad but are there any more?
Thanks
Dan

Hi again,
Yes, you've been told correctly. Yet, you could travel with 07 on line 29 (Povelyanovo-Kardam), line 91 (Samuil-Silistra), with class 55 on line 6 (Kyustendil-Gyueshevo). On other non-electrified lines - 23, 24, 81 and 4 (section Dimitrovgrad-Podkova) the pasenger service is carried out by DMU Siemens.
BTW: When you plan to come to Bulgaria?

Hi.
I fly over to Sofia on Wed 28th April, and fly home on Thursday 06 May.
Ah yes I saw the Kardam and Silistra, these are overnight trains?
On the Thursday 29th we are planning to do the 75 / 77s, then stay in Plovdiv Thursday night and cover the trains round there. We are on the tour Saturday, Sunday and Monday, then have the Tuesday and Wednesday free at the moment, so will try and get for the 55 on the Gyueshevo line. Is it just the one loco up and down the line all day or do more than one operate the service?

Thanks for the replies on this, it should prove very useful.
One last question, the ex-BR Class 87s, how much freight do they work? Do they only work on certain trains? As it would be nice to see them at work rather than just on the railtour.

Well with the plane problem sorted ( i hope) im back on track for my trip.
Ive viewed the BDZ website and it now shows the line between Plovdiv and Dimitrograd has got an engineering block past Parvomaj, so will the loco hauled turns (18:04 ex Plovdiv etc) now be Desiros?

No one could tell for sure if the trains would be loco hauled or Desiros.
BZK have a lot of trains, so you would see the 87's in action.
Wish you a great stay. But please mind the following things:
1. If you change money, the standard rate is 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN (Bulgarian Lev). There are many pricks so be extremly careful for that.
2. Be sure to have some form of protection, like a pepper spray or some kind of a knife (these two should be left in your main luggage for air travel, not the hand luggage), since I presume you'd be carrying a DSLR and do not leave your stuff unnatended.
3. Keep your most valuable possesions (passport, ID, credit cards) out of your bag. Best in some kind of a case under your shirt.
These rules are valid all over the world, but for a foreigner in Bulgaria or Romania, these must be followed strictly.

Задавам си въпроса от наша страна пишешщите на английски, не е ли редно да допълнят макар и в крадце по смисъл на български за какво иде реч. Все таки не може всички перфектно да знаем английски...
